I am so famous. I am in a picture;)

If you talk to the guy that sold you the Discus and his are not showing any signs of this, I definitely think it may be just stress as emile suggests. From his avatar it looks like he may be a discuss keeper, so it is reassuring to hear his input on this. Just be vigilent in watching for improvement with his suggested treatment, and if they seem to worsen this may be more than just stress.

Another experienced discus keeper is our moderator, Pinkertd. You might pm her for another opinion on this. I'm wishing the best for you and your little fishies.
I hope that all this is is stress and your little guys are feeling better soon.

I was saying that if the seller's fish didn't have symptoms then it's probably stress as emile said, and that emile's avatar was a discus, lol. I should have written that whole sentence differently.
Should have said:

"... stress as emile suggests; from his avatar it looks like he may be a discus keeper,..."

Ah communication... it's a wonderful and mysterious miracle. :)

LOL... I found the translate button and fixed it. Though I do speak Spanish, a little bit, I do better with English. (usually, lol)

I speak a lot of spanish because of middle school, and now Freshman year.:)
Now it makes sense about emile.;)

All Clear, I hope they don't show signs of anything else, this is a nightmare, I am going to dream about burying my discus............................jk, that won't happen

I hope

I hope your dreams are filled with happy healthy little discus, tonight, and I hope your little guys just have a case of stress and get over it quickly.

Discus, the KING OF AQUARIUM FISH, are beautiful and elegant fish, but pretty difficult to keep. I think water quality has to be just perfect for these guys. I know you'll do your best to provide a happy healthy home for them.

Do lots of reading and talk to the Discus keepers here for pointers. Honestly, I think they are gorgeous fish, but I don't think I'd be up to the demands of Discus, myself. I'm a big believer in frequent water changes, usually 50% every 4 or 5 days, but I think some of the Discus keepers do big daily water changes to keep the water pristine for their fish. Too, I have water that is fairly hard and alkaline and these guys really need very soft water

This is alot more than just stress. So many things wrong here I don't even know where to begin.

For starters, how much did you pay for these discus? They are severly stunted and showing signs of razor backing. I would love to see some pictures of the breeders "healthy" discus. In all honesty your better off just culling these fish and starting over with some healthy discus. But I understand your 14, and more than likely your going to insist on trying to save these poor fish.

Where to start......first off lower the temp, the discus are having issues beathing and the higher the temperature, the less dissolved oxygen the water carrys. I would recomend slowly lowering it to 82-83 and adding an airstone or two. And no, juvenile discus are not kept at temperatures of 88, nor is it neccesary to get good growth rates out of juvenile discus by keeping them at elevated temperatures.

Get them into a QT tank, 50% (or greater) water changes at least 2x a day. Make sure the temperature is exactly the same. Are you using tap water? If so, age your water in an aging barrel before using it for water changes.

I would recomend a PP dip in 2 PPM PP for 2-4 hours, monitoring them all the time. From there I would place them into the cycled QT tank and treat with kanamycin as per instructions. If you can't find kanamycin, then Furan 2 would be my next choice.

Don't treat with melafix, it is useless unless your treating for a superficial cut/scrape. It just going to add more gunk to the water and make it harder for them to breath.
