Not to mention, they also "color up". Do keep in mind that warmer water also holds less dissolved Oxygen than cooler water...the majority of tropical fish wish do just fine at a temperature of around 75-78F. I don't use heaters on my tanks, but instead keep the house in the 70's...the tanks stay at around 76F for the most part, as I hate a cold house.
