Hardy plant suggestions needed

What are some of the toughest plants you can get these days? As I've noticed that in one of my tanks, this one plant will keep dying off and rotting, so I want something else that I can replace it with. Something that can stand the attacks of angelfish and bettas, as they're the main fish in this tank and enjoy salads for some reason... Also possibly something that grows fast and possibly fans out abit as it grows too. The tank is to be heavily planted.

i have a fully planted tank and my angels never bother the plants. i think it was prob a lighting problem.

The actual tank light only came on for two hours in the morning before I left and when I get home, it gets put on for another four or five hours until I go to bed. But it has sunlight on it all day long. As for the plant itself, Ludwigia Mulerttii is what it is.
Mgamer, I've never really known angels to eat plants either, but mine seem to enjoy eating them. My bettas I think just enjoy ripping the plants to pieces though. Thanks for the link too
