here some shots from the Halloween party I did over the weekend! I have more, however, they have other peoples kids in them, so these will have to do!

this is the spider walk, however, its kinda difficult to see, theres a huge inflatable spider, and the kids had to steal a baby spider from mom spiders nest before she caught them(with help of course) I was surprised at how scary this was for the kids, even 7 and 8 year olds paused !

this guy proved quite amusing the little kids!

this is the ghost yard, you had to go through and pick a ghost, ( tootsie pop, wrapped in tissue paper, with faces drawn on, ) before the ghost gets you, ( an arm, covered in a white pillow case, that came through a hole in the hay)

this is me, and another lady who helped me set it up, they all like to come "peek" at what I am doing when its time for the holiday parties! I am the pastor/preacher, which, in itself got a great laugh! not exactly the best pic of me, but Oh well!

Wow!! talk about getting into the holiday spirit!!

Actually, it was a blast, I had thirty two kids show up, and every one in costume, admittance fee is a can good, to be donated to the local food bank, its never very much, but usually after the Christmas, easter and Halloween party, and a few dances through the year, we take in a good bit.

I have to admit, by far, Halloween is my favorite! thats actually only half of the room you see, Theres a whole 'nother half, that was decorated as well, I just ran out of time to take pics. we were very fortunate to have a local farmer loan us the hay, its expensive to buy and I did it all on a 200$ budget, every kid got a trick or treat bag, and a little black gift bag, as well as the black bag in the right corner on the table, they also got to make crafts, and eat! plus all the fun games, and prizes for those games to!

I think next year, I am going to multi tier the party, I think it would be fun, to leave the place decorated, and do a party for teenagers that are "to old" to come to these, theres a lot of fun games that I could set up for them, that are to difficult for the afternoon party, ..lol, I am already dreaming of skeletons, and screams, ..

But for now, I have to do Christmas next! I am thinking santas workshop...but I need to start finding games, that I haven't already done.

Nice thought though, to collect cans for those who are less fortunate!!

well, if the club had their way, They would just throw their party, I am the one who pushes for the can good donation, its not mandatory, we'll still let you in, if you don't bring one, but seriously, why shouldn't they, every one has a can good that they aren't using, that someone else could! I know if you go through my cupboard you would find a ton of sour kraut and such, that I will never cook! lol...
