Is there any online store that sells aquarium decor for really cheap, or cheaper than I would find in retail stores? I am sick of paying $20+ for a medium - large decor, $5 per plastic plant, and things like this. Anyone link me to some good sites?

I want to build up a side of my 46 gallon tank with rocks, building caves and stuff, but I am not sure of the right rock to get.

somthing inert, use a vingar test. put a few drops on whatever you have for the tank, if it fizzes then dont use it, you'll have to rinse it off first though

I don't suggest buying rocks off the web. It's a simple matter of shipping weight. Rocks are heavy and it will cost you to have them shipped. Try sourcing locally: Home Depot, Lowes, Sears Hardware and so forth.

I got some nice large "mexican beach pebble" stones at lowes for a few bucks a bag....

I dont know that he is looking for just rocks ... considering he mentioned plants and aquarium decor!

Yeah, natural looking caves and driftood and stuff... That would be a great online store to find.

Big Al's and That Pet Place have much better prices than retail stores. A plus is that Big Al's has free shipping til Dec 5th.
