Thanks for the heads up. After I saw your post, I jumped in the car and headed to the Hoffman Estates store. Came back with a Gold Nugget and Bristlenose (both for only $28), as well as a trade in for an old Whisper. Acclimating them as I type.

I would've gotten a 20g tank for $20, but they were all out of black trim (oak trim were not on sale). I could've paid for one and driven back later, but I don't like trekking out to the burbs too much unless it's for golf.

By the way, that store was by far the best aquarium shop that I had been in. The display tanks, both FW and SW, were very impressive, including two ~10 foot tall built-in wall tanks. Very good selection of fish, including plecos. If anyone in the Chicago area wants a nice vampire pleco (~6-7"), it's still there for half price ($65 instead of $130).
