Gourami has damaged looking fin with white fluff??

What you see is all that's left of his tail fin, and the one just below the tail is almost totally gone.

There are more photos of him on my Flickr account ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/11576733@N00/ ) which make it pretty clear that he had a nice full tail before, and almost nothing now. What I can't get over is how quickly it happened.

I've begun his treatment anyhow, and will keep track of it's progress on my Fish-Cam site, I guess I need to keep a close eye on the others in my primary tank to make sure none of them have the same issue.

If it was my Serpae Tetra's doing... I never once saw them even take a nibble, but I'll sell the little buggers off and get more Neons.
 
Fin & Tail Rot can take the fins to almost nothing in a day or two. One day my Bala's showed heavy ich, the next day 1/2 their tails were gone. Its bacterial, so some kind of antibiotic is the best solution.
