Good heater for 2.5 gallons?

I'm thinking about setting up a glass betta tank that's 2.5 gallons. Would a 50 watt work or is that too much power? What are the chances of a heater over-heating such a small tank? Advice needed =)

Hydor mini heater. Costs about thirteen dollars. It doesn't have any temperature control but for the purposes of keeping a 2.5g tank at a good steady 76 degrees they're a great choice.

The Marineland Shatterproof is 10w and is set at 78 degrees.

The stealth would have a thermostat but do you think a 20 watt or 50 watt would overheat a 2.5 gal tank?

Should be fine, i've just put a 50w heater in my daughter's 4g betta tank.

I had/have the smallest watted(can't remember the wattage) stealth in 3 gallons, they hold the temp nice and steady

Those Marinelands look great. No experience with them but if I were given the choice at the time between the Hydor and the Marineland I'd probably have gone with the Marineland.
