Hello, I am new to this forum and i hope you can help me. I have an empty 100 gallon and i am looking for fish to breed. I want an easy fish to breed but i dont want to breed live bearers. I am willing to do more frequent water changes if necessary but i dont want to separate the pair when they lay eggs. I dont have any more room to put the pair in, so i hope there is a beautiful species of fish i can put in the tank.

a pair as in a breeding pair or just 2? If you mean a breeding pair, I've never seen a breeding pair of anything before sold anywhere.
Any other ideas? Also i don't want a really cheap fish because when the aquarium gets filled up, i might want to sell them to my LFS or somewhere.

get convicts. they're fun to watch and breed like rats. i don't even have the water heated! i have seperated half my fry and left the rest with the parents. the babies are about 7 weeks old and all are doing well and growing. livebearers suck, lol.
By definition the cheap fish are often the ones that are easy to breed, with fish that don't have distinct differences between the sexes (or don't when young) it's best to buy half a dozen (preferably from different breeding stock, not always possible) and seperate out the pairs when they form up.
But i have to separate the angel pair so the others won't eat them, and i hate angels, they are one of the few fish species i hate along with mollies.
you would have to do this with most fish...angels when you get a real breeding pair..will not be cheap..
many other cichlids will make breeding pairs. ..discus, firemouths, rams, etc.
many cichlids will parent raise the fry..but it is best to have the pair in a separate breeding tank if you want success.
I want a fish that i dont have to separate and will have success in breeding them because as i said, i dont have any room to separate them into. Will i need to separate the convicts if they pair up? I want them all together in my 100 gallon and i want them to populate.
