are there such thing ? ive looked all over the net with no success. I have a "dirty oscar" and it hasnt grown , ive had it three months and no growth at all hes in a 55 so im not stunting . any ideas

Never heard of one either, where did you get it? More then just aquarium size can stunt the growth of a fish, what are your water parameters like?

Ok here he is and sorry its a lil on the bright side. He isnt quite the poser.

Perhaps he was stunted by smaller living quarters before you got him?

He does look like a healthy little guy other than not growing. And your other albino tiger in the 75 looks like he has no problems in the growth department, so I doubt diet and water quality are a factor unless your 55 is grossly overstocked.

could be just a runt.

I have an angel that is in a 40 with 3 other juveniles..and this one is noticably smaller even tho it competes well for food.

ummm

well he was in a 29 the first 3 weeks i had him i like to grow them out a little in them , the 55 is temp quarters he will be moved into a 150 in about a month so thats not a problem , his diet consists of flakes as a staple brine shrimp and red wigglers as a treat and my water perameters are 0 amm 0 nitrite and around .25 nitrate . he acts like a normal healthy oscar chases everthing in the tank maybe just a slow grower lol . oh by the way he was purchased at petsmart for 15 bux thanks for the help tho
