Does anyone know when Petco has their dollar per gallon sale? Also, are there any online sellers that have this sale?

What is this all about because petco is about like 5 miles from my house...
 
i don't really know, but i want to say that they have it in the summer. they might do it twice a year though.
 
Better off with Craigslist IMO. I've found several at < $1 per gallon and 2 complete freebies.

everyone knows how much i love criagslist but some times you just cant find what your looking for. its one thing when your only setting up a couple tanks. its another when your trying to match setting up racks and racks of tanks. lol

True, but patience is it's own virtue. I have ten 10Gs, 3 5Gs, with the rack and sponge filters (for free) to show for it. ;) I did have to make 3 trips though so I burned gas. That said, the most fun I've had is the 55 I put together from scratch, but I got the tank and lights on Clist too. Everything else was retail or online. Many options to find the best deals. That was my only point.
