Yahoo! I just spotted one cherry shrimp!! I thought my Koi angel ate them all!! I couldn't believe the intense red color. So awesome. Now I can't find him anymore lol
Do rainbowfish eat shrimp? Cherry shrimp?

just a bit of warning from experience. my turquoise rainbow ate my cherry and yellow shrimp at all sizes. he was calm when i was around but watching from a distance i saw him stalking them in the dense 4 inch moss. angels will easily decimate them as well. you cant keep any large fish with them. i even see my small red eye tetras ripping a large adult shrimp to pieces once in a while.
Give it time... my turquoise rainbows tend to leave the few remaining red cherry shrimp alone when they are in the java moss or near holes in the driftwood, but the minute the shrimp go for a swim they are rainbow food. Even at the larger sizes the shrimp are irresistibly delicious.
