I have boosemani and blue rainbows and I want to know if it's safe. I'll be getting cherry shrimp and a snail. I'm gonna wait till the cherry shrimps reach 1 inch and introduce them to the tank;but one's thing's for sure...will the rainbows attack or eat them?and what about my koi angel? :O

It's no surprise angelfish will eat the shrimps. Rainbows have big mouths and narrow throats but I'd say it's a possibility especially when the shrimps molt.

I think I'll "grab" the shrimp and place them in a safe hidden location in the tank I don't want to throw them in;I think the boosemani's will be all over it. they better mistaken it them as cherry barbs xD haha

The angel for sure will eat the cherry shrimp and it is also quite possible the rainbows will do the same.

i might try 3 first when they all are 1 inch. i'll be getting 10 from msjinkzd

I would try adult shrimp first. If you have areas of very dense planting, some may survive. The baby shrimp tend to hide out for the first couple weeks. I know mg has kept shrimp with angels with success, but his tanks are super densely planted.

Thanks for the tip. They reach 1 inch as max, correct? How long will it take for them to be fully grown up?

Probably under a month, most of the ones I send out reach sexual maturity within a couple weeks and full-size within a month or so.

Kay, thanks. One month, eh? phew
