Hello All,

I have a few older tanks that need to be re-trimme/resealed. Can some one send me a picture of aquarium safe silicone? I have a Home Depot, a Lowe's, and Menards near me so if you could post a pic or brand of silicone thats aquarium safe and I can find at either of those stores. Thanks guys.

well don't have any pictures but GE I is what i know is safe for tanks have even re-sealed some tanks with it. you want to stay away from GE II because it has anti-fungas stuff on it, it can be used safely but takes about 2 weeks of curing for it to be safe to used in a tank.

You could get away with this
every different brand probably has something that is safe. You want that is for Kitchen/Food safe.

Sorry to sound rude, but DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT LINKED.

"Contains BioSeal*mold and mildew protection"

the product linked above has mildew protection additives, which are a NO GO for aquariums. you need something WITHOUT mildew protection.
