congo tetra tank

well they get to a max of 3-4'' if i remember correctly and that tank has a very good footprint for a 36'' tank' so i cant see why not for a 75 gal tank.
what else are you adding, are you doing a planted set up

I think thats way too many congos for that sized tank considering when they get full grown, they will hit 4". I'd personally say 55 gallon for 20 congos and thats with no other tetras... maybe just some plants and bottom feeders.

I agree with the above post...I'd go with a 4ft tank minimum. A 3-4 inch fish in a school need a long tank and IMO 3ft isn't long enough, especially with all the other schooling fish you want to add.

Seriously, for all those schools, I'd get a 6ft tank. :) In a 3ft tank, I'd stick to 2 schools of 8-10 and preferably a type of tetra that is smaller than Congos.

the tank they have is 75gals its 36'' long but also very wide and high.
check the footprint that tank is big enough for the fish mentioned.

20 congos in a 75 gallon is fine. i think that you should keep it 1 species of tetra, and have them be the focus of the tank. you might want to get a school of 10 coryodras for the bottom of the tank OR a group of 4 flagtail/porthhole catfish. most top dwellers are pretty active, and that might draw attention away from the congos.
