I keep tightening that big nut on the Regulator to Bottle and each day it starts to leak.. I tighten it so it stops and the next day it leaks again??

Co2 gas is giving me a headache when I reach down to inspect my leak issue...

The people at the Welding place say that I do not need to use Teflon tape. If that is true, why am I having issues with leaking?

Check the seal inside the fitting, between the tank, and the requlator...
there should be a plastic type washer in there, make sure it is there, and that there is only one seal in there.. not 2.

if all is good, just crank it tight!

It's a fiber washer from the refill store, brand new and I installed it on my new bottle.

There should be a plastic/rubber washer between the regulator and the bottle.
Use ample amounts of teflon tape.

I will use tape if it leaks again.. :frog:

I don't want to tighten it so hard that it breaks, I've done that to Cam bolts and many other things in the past, it sucks... lol

teflon tape is the way to go
