Clear PVC pipe

Where can I buy clear PVC pipes (about 1" ID)? My local Home Deot and Lowes sell only black and gray ones.
 
I had to go to a specialty plastics shop to find it. I have some extra 1.5" (inside diameter) stuff left. If that will work for you, let me know and we can work something out. =)
 
The only stuff my LFS carries is incredibly thin. I guess it depends on the application.
 
i bought mine from a local plumbing supplier give them a try call your local plumber and ask where you can get some they will know.
 
acrylic is NOT pvc pipe and i have no idea why you would suggest that and its NOT your best bet. that thin acrylic tubes pet stores sell is usually to replace under gravel filter tubes and its useless for most anything else.

without knowing the application, how can it be predetermined that it is not a good idea?
 
that paper thin acrylic tubes LFS sell is useless unless its for a UGF if you try working a DIY project with it instead of PVC pipe you'll know what I mean, been there done that learned my lesson.
