chinese theme

Funny thing, I happen to be in my local Michael's (arts and crafts supply store, the gf was looking for something in particular) and I happen to see the transparent chinese food style boxes there for about $1.69 each. It instantly made me think of your post and I thought it was kinda funny how I happen to see them just by chance after talking about it.

i'll fill it with mostly white gravel, with bits of light green gravel for snow peas and some chunky brick colored gravel for the pork. may use yellow gravel for the rice for more of a fried rice. any other suggestions? I saw a bag of substrate that looked more like shavings and resembled rice more... not sure what it was.
