Canister Filter Suggestions

Hey all!
I'm still pretty new to this whole thing. All I've ever done is small tanks, but I'd like to have a 75 gallon tank someday.
I would like to run an AquaClear 110 on it, along with a canister filter.
However, I've never done a canister filter before. In fact, I've never even seen one.
So, what brands are the best? Why do you prefer one over another? What are your experiences?

I have always used fluval and havent had any disasters......

I got my eheim pro2 from kensfish. I got a great price and it works great. It's huge and has a lot of room for media. It is also runs very quietly, practically silent. I love it.

i have a marineland C-360 and it works great, only problem was with the impeller, and they sent me a new one! if i had the chance, i would def. go up to a C-530
