Blue Dolphin wont feed except live fish - please help

Hi Friends !

I have already asked this in another thread, but I'm facing a real problem-

My 4 Blue Dolphins (about 4-5 inches in length) are not feeding on anything except live fish. I guess I should say 'live food' instead of 'live fish', but really I dont have any other choice as I cant get bloodworms or any other organisms here in my town....

I had been worried because since I got these 4 beauties, they had'nt eaten anything and I thought to try live food, and so I put about 5 -6 small gold fish in the tank - to my surprise they just attacked and within a few seconds all the fish had been eaten !!!

Now what do I do ? I'm really-really feeling bad... do I feed them live fish only or is there any other way that I can make them eat normal packed fish food ?

Kindly help me friends...

What is the longest they've gone without eating while you have provided non live foods. Fish get spoiled and have to be weaned off of live foods sometimes.

Thanks for the kind reply and for helping me out....

actually I bought them about a week ago and they DO approach the normal packed fish food, but as they are kept with other 8 hungry Red Parrots, they dont get a chance at the food... After putting more and more food I get tired as everything is eaten by the parrots and nothings left for other... I'm also afraid that I shouldnt overfeed them...

Please advice and help me Friend...
