WHOAH! I had no idea! It would be awesome to have one of these 3" pond snails in my tank! But maybe just one. ;)

The whole Pond/Bladder Snail can be pretty confusing since a lot of people use the two terms interchangeably and both look very similar.
Great reference material Vampie! I was actually going to make a side by side photo myself this weekend for comparison. The only difference in my guys to that of the picture is the transparent shell. But their faces with the big, thick antenna are just awesome.

How many of these do you have?
I've found about 10 in the tank (if I can only figure out where they came from now..have to check my other tanks). They definately aren't as prolific as the bladder snails. They are growing fast. I have one that looks to be closing in on the 1" mark. Will definately continue watching their growth after seeing the 2-3" part.

On a side note....I still haven't seen any damage to the plants in the tank which is a great sign. They appear to only eat the decaying matter and of course any left over food from the shrimp.

Bumpity for coolness! I wonder if you'd find interest to sell/trade? Personally I've never seen actual pond snails and want some, or one! :D

Can you post a pic of yours, James?
