Betta Channoides Breeding

I would think it would be hard to spot fry in a heavily planted 60g. Its already hard enough find fish in a heavily planted tank but fry... Its a long shot. Hopefully you do see tye fry and can get them into their own tank and raise some. Good luck :)

^ yeah, im almost kicking myself for not separating the male when i last saw him, but at the same time didnt want to frighten him either causing him to swallow the eggs...

But yeah, my plan is to just throw in a little bit of smaller food items when i see the male come out next time, given he isnt showing any signs of carrying the eggs still...

Since i definitely agree, it will be next to impossible to spot the fry, considering i cant even find my male in the tank :)

I finally saw my male yesterday for all of about 20sec, and didnt seem to notice him carrying anything in his mouth...

Then decided to go ahead and feed the fish but both he and the female skipped the meal...

Anyway, havent seen any fry as predicted, so not sure if there will be any?

^ thanks for the pics, but judging from those photos they seem really small... Definitely going to be hard to spot...

But on the bright side, i picked up a 2nd pair for the tank, so maybe now i'll have double the chance to see se fry :)
