Well I had a 3 gal picotype nano with some live rock... And I accidentally slipped and knocked it off the table last night and broke it!!! Cried my eyes out, saved the rock (I hope!) and got a new tank. This one is a 5 gal and much nicer. I salvaged some of the old sand but got some new sand which is settling. I had planned on getting a blue legged hermit crab and maybe some sexy shrimp. This being a bigger tank gives me a few more choices, so SHOOT AWAY!! Tell me what my choices are as far as cool animals to put in the tank. And I promise not to knock this one off the table.

Trimma goby and a pair of sexy shrimp. Can't really think of too many other tiny fish that would work out. Catalina gobies would but they require colder water.

Thinking about Catalina myself in the pico we have. They are cool looking fish.

Pair of neon gobies are another fish option. Don't think I would put a hermit in a 5 gallon. They can be PITAs even in large tanks.

How about some red cherry shrimp? They are hardy, affordable, and small, so a few in that 5gal should be OK. They help clean up excess food and debris too.

RCS are freshwater. So no go there haha

Cherry shrimp would be great in a freshwater, i've been thinking of doing a small planted cherry shrimp tank. Well it looks like some things on the live rock have survived, not the spaghetti worms or the tiny jellyfish (forgot the name but they stay small and mostly hang out on the glass) thus far:( Oh and its actually a 6 gal. I am going to buy some more live rock because there is more room for it anyway.
