The clutch I had hatch a while back was a lot of heartache. So much so that I really thought about giving up on the hobby. But I've decided to hang in there. I have 3 babies that are the size of peas. One is a light foot and appears to be solid pink. The other 2 are dark purples. Here are photos of 2 of the 3. IMG_1046.JPG

I am glad you are hanging in there as well! You are a fantastic snail mommy, its just not as easy as everyone thinks to raise out that many baby snails.

I don't know how you do it msjinkzd! I fed them the best food, kept up with water changes and checking the water etc. I've got my fingers crossed for these three; they are in a 29 gallon along with five White Cloud babies that I got from someone who needed to rehome them, and two tiny Otos from another person who found that they were too tiny for the other fish they had in their tank. Along with that group is "Sarge" the olive Nerite who is doing very well. He is the "adult" in the baby tank. LOL!

They are truly beautiful!

It is one heck of a learning experience with snails, and I am still learning. I have hatched many a clutch and don't have a single snail out of the bunch that has grown to the size that you have in your pics Holly. Congrats to you.

Add RCS to the mix, and you could possibly go mad. I have seen 3 berried RCS but have yet to see any babies in the tank. I put 30 RCS in the tank initially, and if I see 10 at a time it is a miracle. On top of that, I have only ever seen 5 to 10 of them in red. The rest are all pretty clear and I have absolutely no idea what I am doing wrong because the water parameters are exactly how they like them according to everything I have read.
