I am looking at getting 1 male and 3 females (Tripple Red variaty), and I was wondering what else would go good with these fish. I have a 29 gallon tank.

I was thinking maybe

Neon Tetras
Angels

What would be a good algie eater for this tank, and one that wouldn't eat the eggs of the apisto's?

Thanks for your help

if you are trying to breed them, have you considered not having anything else in there? They can become territorial when they breed. Also, in my experience, just about anything will eat eggs (so nutritious!). If breeding is a secondary concern to having a nice looking tank I would think neons would work, not sure about the angels in such a confined space with 3 apistos...

No way on the angels, iv actually got a 2 ft tank with 4 Cactuoides, 5 cardinal & 5 rummy nose tetras as well as 2 small bristlenoses. They all get along fine, im just waiting for the breeding to happen and see how agressive the males will get.

Plenty other options. No angels please. I find this a rather confined territory. Your other options are ember tetras, corydoras, ancistrus plecs, hatchetfish and otos.

Otos or ancistrus plecs. Any fish will still eat the eggs.;)

Yea but Lupin if you have ever seen a apisto mother defending her fry you'd know that NOTHING is gonna get past her.

True but I did not count this while I was posting assuming angels are more eager on my experience anyway.:)
