Anyone know about Opae'ula/Red Volcanic/ Hawaiian shrimp?

I have never heard of one of those (still new to equipment), would a submersable power head suffice?

is there a reason the heater is sideways? I did break one verticaly once, when the bottom hit gravel, im so glad their sophisticated enough not to of fryed me.

I have already read that one, and most of the ones on google and yahoo, Im looking for some personal experience other than the countless number of ppl that say dont feed them

can you put some in a 5g or is that too small? How would I go about cycling a brackish tank ready for these guys? Would it be different than normal?

I have no plants in the tank, some macro algae came with the shrimp, but it has mostly been eaten now and I tried moss and it died. I currently have no plants in the tank, but bio film is growing well and the shrimp are happy as can be. Halocaridina rubra are very active in my experience and always moving around feeding.
