Any purple fishes?

I saw something at the LFS the other day called Blue Emperor Tetras but I swear they looked purple. I'm actually thinking about getting some because purple is the wife's favorite color.

I was going to say the same thing. Emperor Tetra's have some purple on them, saw them in a lfs last year. Nice fish.

By accident, which just astonished me. I changed the lights and my neon tetras turned/looked purple. They turn a purple color when swimming at the top and when at a lower level, back to their original color. I might just buy more neons. (my mom pointed out the color change and she loved the purple color)

Ok I just showed my wife this snail and she wants some for her tank. Where can purple snails like this one be found? Seriously looking now.

might make a thread in the classified section. we tend to have many members breeding them.

I showed my mom the purple snail. She doesn't seem fond of them as they to her move "slow"

They are very pretty though.


I'm also going to see if I can get her a school of threading rainbows. My golly they are beautiful.
