While I appreciate that some people send the money as personal/gifts in order to prevent fees from being assessed, I would like to ask that people send it as money for goods at least when buying from me. This is the reason; when it is sent personal, it does not attach an address. This means I have to dig through pm's or keep a paper notebook of shipping addresses. i prefer to not waste paper. Also, since I am unable to print the shipping label off of paypal, it costs me $.80 or whatever more for the delivery confirmation which is free through paypal and is more expensive for the shipping as well. The way I look at it, those fees make my shipping cheaper, I save about $50 a week in shipping by using paypals services and have no problem paying their fees. another problem with this is that I have to pay at the post office, taking up alot more of my time/day. Why doesn't she use www.usps.com you ask? Because they won't accept the paypal credit card for payment.

So while the good intentions are greatly appreciated, it might be better to check with teh seller before making an assumption. This is not a rant or a complaint, just food for thought about paypal and its fees :)

I agree with you Rach. Since paypal included the new "Personal Payment" selection, I think some people don't really know which one to choose. I've had the same issues of not being able to print shipping labels and having to go to USPS.com to print labels where I have to put it on my personal credit card because they don't take paypal, meanwhile the shipping monies are sitting there in paypal. I now ask everyone to be sure to send imoney as payment for goods.

Arrange to have your auction item sent online and pay using your PayPal® account at eBay®.

Just another way to do things. Personally, I pay and make my labels on the USPS web site.

usps won't accept my paypal card for payment. It will only use my normal checking or credit cards, not sure why.

Ditto everything Rachel said. PLEASE use "for goods/services" as it saves loads of time filling in addresses. In fact I'd MUCH rather 'eat' the couple % paypal fees than have to manually type in an address for a cash shipment.

Most of us are doing it for the love of the hobby. If we really charged properly for our time...then I'd be charging $5-15 handling on every item I ship. Help us save time.

I also have not found a way to use paypal for USPS other than direct thru paypal.

Question. since we are on the subject of paypal. Why wont paypal release my money to me, from an Ebay sale, until the buyer leaves feedback? It says I have to wait 21 unless they leave feedback!
