Sponge Snail

Has anyone heard of a Sponge Snail? It is a snail with a sponge as its shell; I purchased one at my LFS along with a Pom Pom Crab. My camera is not working so a picture is not available as yet, but it looks exactly as the name implies... a snail with a sponge on its back. I wanted to add a sponge to the tank so I figured I might as well get a two in one combo. If anyone has experience with these things, please let me know.

What are the invert limitations for a 14g aquarium, such as crabs and shrimps? I currently have the following livestock in my aquarium:

Fish
1 Spotted Watchman Goby

Inverts
2 Blue Leg Hermits
1 Pistol Shrimp
1 Cleaner Shrimp
1 Emerald Crab
1 Pom Pom Crab
1 Red Fiddler Crab
1 Sponge Snail
1 Vermetid Snail (Came w/ LR)

Corals
Pulsing Xenia
Button Polyps

I was hoping ot add a few more inverts such as Sexy Shrimp and Sally Lightfoot Crab; the livestock list might seem like a lot for a 14g, but my parameters have remained excellent and there is not any overcrowding, due to the size of the creatures. I am only going to add one more fish, which will be a Bangai Cardinal; I am primarily interested in inverts.

Lights Out!!!

The Coralife Actinic 24Watt Compact Fluorescent Lamp has gone out; I tried to switch the ballasts to make sure the ballast had not shorted, but both ballasts work for the 10,000 lamp. How long are these lights supposed to last? My owner's manual states to change the lights annually; however, I have only owned the Biocube 14g for two (2) months.

Power compact bulbs technically lasts 3 ~ 5 years.
But the intensity reduces to 50% after about 6 months, so that's why you'd wanna swap them out even if they aren't "out".

24 Watt Actinic Bulb

I replaced the 24 Watt Actinic Bulb, which is manufactured by Coral Life. When I replaced the bulb, it worked perfectly so the ballast is okay. I can not believe the **** bulb only lasted two months. Anyway, after conducting a 5 g water change, I added a False Ocellaris Clown to the tank. The little guy seems to be doing really good; he is already eating. I still want to purchase an anenome for him to live in. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what type of anenome to add to the tank and what the price might be?

By the way, I named him Homie after Homie the Clown.

Clowns dont really host in anenomes in a tank very often but the few I have seen hosting were hosting in bubble tip anenomes and in long tip anenomes. Price varies by location but most Petcos sell them for $35 and $20 respectively.

I'm sorry but I don't feel your tank is of an adequate size or of lighting to provide a good home for an anemone. If you later decide to get a larger tank then there are sources of information regarding anemone and clownfish compatibility although the responsible ones always add the disclaimer that there is no guarantee that even a clownfish that accepts a type of anemone in the wild as a host will do so in capitivity. Especially a tank raised clownfish which I highly recommend people buy when getting one.
