i priced matched the visi therm heater to $20.99 the web site price. then i used the coupon found in the link for $5 off $15. walked out the door with a 250w stealth heater for $17 and some change. will def pick up another one or two.

did you need to print out the website sales price and show them?

yeah i just got the petco coupon in the mail. although i really dont need 250w for a 5.5 gallon tank. or is that ok?

yes print out the page and the coupon which is in the link. you can get the lower watt ones. lowest one they show is 50w for $17 then - the $5.

Have you had any problems with a Stealth visi therm heater? I have a 75W in my 20G and I was beginning to think it might be the cause of my snail problems. It has a bunch of white crusty stuff on it that wouldn't come off when I tried to clean it. The few places were it did come off, the plastic surface of the heater seemed pitted (not deeply just barely on the surface).

I have had some bad luck with heaters especially in that tank.
