Whats the growth rate of Gulper Ctas??

Asterophysus batrachus. As for the growth rate, I cannot answer that. I have no plans to keep or try the gulper catfish considering their astronomical price. I believe however MFK, our sister site, is a much better place to ask about gulper catfish unless a few MFK members pop in to answer the question for you.sorry, but common names mean almost nothing...scientific name please!

MFK to the rescue!! They are slow growers...your talking more on the months/per inch side of growth rate. I can't give you an exact number because it really depends on the diet and conditions of the fish, but think along the lines of datnoid growth.
These guys very rarely break a foot in captivity, but they should be kept with tankmates about twice their size so I would focus more on planning tankmates for the size of the fish your getting versus the growth rate...that won'd be an issue.
