I catch these in nsw aus in a small brackish creek near my house i have heaps in my tanks and ponds becoz they live in fresh brackish and salt. And occasionally i will see them out of the water on a rock or the edge of the ponds baking in the sun. But unlike the normal mudskippers they spend 10% out of the water and 90% in. They are weird. Unless mine are just some weird gobie.
