I belive its called the caudal but it's fleshy looking scales have came off it doesn't seem to really be a bother to him I do feed him live prey I also have a albino red oscar I've had them both since babies does can anyone look at the pictures and give me an idea of what it could be .?

Agreed.

Fellow oscar keeper here. They're clumsy beasts at times and can plow into/through things and damage themselves.

What sized tank? Tank mates? There's little nutritional value in feeding them live prey.

In the meantime I'd keep up on large weekly water changes.
