This blue gene mutation didn’t happen by captivity breeding. It happened Naturally in the wild. They can be wild caught. The male I have was wild caught and has been an amazing stud.

Hmm, are you sure? I'm going to have to search more to understand. It seems like it was from a different species that led to Electric Blue fish in several (cichlid) species...but not tonight...almost bedtime for me...

You may be much more up on EB (species) breeding, & I'm willing to admit that...but ya know I want to know why & how you got there just for my own information. I think genetics are interesting & I want to know more...
