They also dont tend to be super active, so unlike another fish their length, they do fine in smaller tanks.
I have 2 in my 46g. Ive dabbled with the thought of another, but im also very heavily stocked so ive been sitting on the idea. For obvious reasons.
My platorynchus tolerates my vittata and i dont want to compromise their territories to food access by adding another for awhile.
Anyways, adding some more photos
Some of these are taken with my big camera, most with my cell phone.
"Twigbranch" my platorynchus. Reserved and shy. Shes the only one who eats wafers and veggies. The more dominant of the two fish.
"Tree" my vittata. This one is more adventurous and less shy, probably because this one is still a juvenile. S/he has an obsession with hanging off of my filter baffle upside down lol
And both together, reluctantly.
