I picked up a 55g today, and instead of spamming the general, I decided to start a photo log here instead. I hope you're not expecting excellent, or even reasonably good, pictures =[. I got some Kodak PHD, who at the moment is resting while the batteries charge.

Anyways!

Just in from picking it up, clown puke and everything.

Temporary decorations in temporary locations. The original owner said he collected them around Oregon. They're pretty, but not for me.

First FTS! My camera quit right after so I wasn't able to get any better shots as I was working.

After I released the angelfish back into their home.

I got some danios in there, but they haven't stopped moving yet. Maybe tomorrow I'll attack the tank with my fully charged camera.

Lol danios don't usually stop moving :D

The angelfish are awesome!
What types are they? It looks like Leopard lace, Pearl-scale, Altum/Silver, Golden Pearl-Scale.. That right? :)

Nice start!

I have no idea! The angelfish and plec were from the original owner, who at one point bred them. I know for sure the one in the last pic is a pearlscale (thank you wikipedia!) and I can only look at pictures there and guess which the other kinds are.

Angels!

Was trying to snap the stripey guy in back, but this guy seems likes to investigate the camera.

Moving the plants in from the 20. A couple stems of pennywort and I don't know what the other plant is.

The ugly side of the tank.
100_2156.JPG

Java fern in driftwood and a moss ball.
100_2152.JPG

What I thought was a rosy barb colored up into a gorgeous odessa barb male. He's usually with the danios and impossible to photo, too.

Day two!

Finished cleaning the magnum to my satisfaction and put it in the tank. Brought over my ghost catfish (k. minor) and some plants, did much much rearranging, though I know tomorrow will be the same. I'll give the poor fish a rest from the awful arm-monster.

haha the arm monster!
The tank looks awesome so far from where you started
Looking forward to watching the progress
Are you going to add a background by any chance?
Are you looking to add any more fish?
