Zucchini v. Cucumber

Just out of curiosity...has anyone done a comparison to see what inverts and such like better.....Zuc's or Cuc's? Gonna have to try it this weekend and see what happens.

I think mine like them both pretty much the same. Although I do notice a larger snail pile when I feed yellow squash.

Cucumber for my snails. But i dont really know the difference, because i personally hate both :grinyes:

My snails weren't too picky but my Mbuna didn't care for the cucumber so zucchini it was!

Mine don't care whether I feed zucchini or cucumber but I do have to second the recommendation for yellow squash. My canas and haustrums took less than 12 hours to eat an entire squash.

how do you feed the squash? do you leave the peel on?

I slice it up like you would for a cucumber and just drop it in.

Never seen any difference with fish or snails. We tend to use cucumber more in terms of out own food, so thats always what I've fed them.
