As some of you may have read, I had a chance to get an 11 year old 61" rear projection TV recently for $150. However, it has a busted screen, which would have cost about $200 to fix. I decided to pass up on it. Now, there is someone in my area selling a 5 year old 50" Hitachi projection TV for $400. I figure since this one is fairly new, and has absolutely nothing wrong with it, that it may be worth it. The only thing I am concerned about is the life of the bulb. They seem fairly expensive to replace, and don't seem to last very long. If anyone here has a projection TV, I have a few questions. How old is it/how long have you had it? Have you had to change the bulb? If so, how many times and roughly how often? Are there any other things I should look out for?
