OK, so if you saw my previous post, I was looking for containers to breed fancy goldfish.
Here's what I've got: Plastic containers, on cinder blocks, with sponge filter, and hornwart. Very basic, and I do not need a heater as I am in central Arizona, and it's usually warm enough year round for aquarium fish. If it gets too cold, I have spare heaters...
Anyhow, time to buy the fish!
Who would've thought it would be so hard to find an oranda breeding pair? Like mentioned, I wanna breed fancy goldfish. I primarily am interested in red cap, or calico orandas, but I'll take ranchus as well (as ugly as they are).
Does anyone know where I can find a mature breeding pair of fancy goldfish online without spending 100$ for a 5 inch fish? Granted, they are more high quality, but this is my first time breeding fancy goldfish intentionally.
