I was cleaning in the garage and found a box with some reef keeping equipment. I took a pick of the only label I could find on the dosing pump, but I don't even see a brand name on it? Icecap ballast with dimmer wired into the VHO cable harness (Wiring harness has some wires that need spliced/fixed), and last a Calcium test kit, looks very full (I don't ever remember using it) all of this stuff is 9yrs old and has just been sitting boxed away!

Let's start with IceCap being out of business.
http://coralvue.com/tag/660-ballast-repair/ is going to provide support, so you still have a useful ballast. The wiring harness might be worth as much or more than the ballast. New, without the dimmer, the harness is ~$30.00. My guess is the setup is worth about $150. It ought to fly if you price it at $100.

For the rest, I'm going to suggest lurking on www.reefcentral.com or other reef sites to see what the going market price is.

Good luck.

I wouldn't expect to get all that much out of the lighting set-up... VHOs aren't used as frequently as they once were. The ballast though, is still used to overdrive T5 HO bulbs. New, the ballast runs $130 - $140.

A 9 year old calcium test is probably expired. It may no longer be of much use for getting accurate results.

The dosing pump... It looks pretty heavy duty. New, much lighter duty looking units are in the $80 - $100 range.

In looking at the dosing pump and on line I think fsn77 is right on the brand.

In your area, another possible sales point would be a small to medium size rabbit breeder. They'd use it to dose vitamins in to their automatic water system.
Good luck.
