I was considering a drive to the Norther Virginia/DC area to see what's available in a larger market. Any suggestions for shops, locations, quality and variety?

Thanks,

I had a feeling you were within driving distance of my neighbourhood. Where are you, exactly? I'm in Herndon. Heck, if you're that close keep a tank open and I'll float you some good rainbowfish later this year ;) Breeding M. parva at the moment and I have a LOT of fry.

I have a section on my Aquafacts site for NOVA/DC fish keepers:

The links above do not work and may of the shops I frequented in the past have closed (Wally's) Do not currently carry fish (super Petz) or have moved out of the area (Vienna Aquarium) . Does anyone have any recommendations?

Centreville Aquarium is a small LFS, but what they have is pretty good. I think Petland in Fairfax carries fish. I have heard good things about Pristine Aquarium in Alexandria, but have not made it there yet. There is a part-time store in Manassas, called Aquatic Treasures.

That maybe about it.

I mainly get my fish either from fish clubs or mail order.

Centreville is good. I went there once with my family and hope to go there in a month again.
