What would manzanita wood do to an aquarium's water?

Would it raise or lower pH?
Would it make it soft or hard?

It will release tannins, which depending upon your TDS may in fact soften and decrease your ph.

Manzanita is inert. It shouldn't do anything, at least nothing noticeable.

I love manzanita I get it for free from a source here in town! Just a long drive from home But I have manzanita in all of my tanks
