What live plants will goldfish NOT eat?

I doubt they would be able to eat anubias. The leaves feel like rubber they are so think.

Yeah, I would first try anubias.

I saw a picture today, on this site, of a planted tank with a large goldfish in it, but a can't seem to find it now. Oh well.

Good luck!

I was mistaken, the pic was on a different forum. However,I do believe I've seen the owner on this forum as well.

Good looking tank, here it is:

Yeah thats my tank. I don't know why but he has never touched plants. I removed the cabomba and replaced it with brazillian pennywort. I'm going to make it build an ivy like background. Maybe get a nice piece of driftwood for a centerpiece and for the anabuis to grow on.

Hoping the val spread from one side to the other, should look good mixed in with the crypts.

Best I can tell you until you know if the goldie will actually eat the plants is to use broadleaf types. Broadleaves are also less likely to snap if the fish swims through it.

Sword plants do well
Here is a picture of my tank, I don't know what the plants are called but they do well. My LFS recommend them to me. The fish don't bother them at all.

But they love to eat lettuce!

Awesome. Swordplants didn't work for me, but I think that's because at the time i had some especially persistant goldfish. Those guys are now in a pond, so I might try them again. Thanks!
