I thought this was an Ambulia, but then I noticed other similiar varieties such as camboda and fanwort. What is it??

It doubles in size every fortnight, provided with 2x 2L DIY Co2 bottles diffused by ceramic pipe diffusers and also dosed with Iron based fertiliser.

I also want to sell this on eBay but I think its quite fragile, any tips on how to pack it?

Thanks!

It is Fanwort. It is not Camboda, and Ambulia is illegal in many places.

Best way to ship is wrap gentally in wet newspaper and then put into plastic bag. Put some air into bag, put into box with some balled-up newspaper and ship.

Ambulia isn't illegal in Australia and is farmed here. So that is still a possibility?

I am not sure where it is illegal. I know many places here in the USA it is illegal.

It is illegal to ship in most places in US. Actually you would probably never get it through customs. You know how fast it grows in your aquarium well x3 or more is what it would do if you through it in a lake, thats why it's a noxious weed.

Interesting. Elodea is about to become illegal in a few weeks where I am. I think it gets too cold here for Ambulia to be a problem. Plus with our drought there's not much water around for aquatic plants to become a pest.

I got this plant as a gift so I don't know which store it came from.

I'll bring a bit into my LFS and see what they think it is.

Look at the leaf nodes.

Two leaves coming out its cabomba, 4 leaves its Ambulia.

I had to hold them side by side to compare for myself.

Leaf nodes? Well, this is the best closeup picture I can get.
If leaf nodes is what appears off the stem in a circle, then they range from 8 to 15.

For sure you have Asian Ambulia. 100%

It's so similiar to Ambulia (Limnophila indica) but calling it Asian Ambulia will do for selling it on eBay. Thanks!
