this sounds dumb, but i dont care. i was trying to think about what fw fish looks like or reminds you of a dragon. or maybe just looks like a midevil times mistical beast? (it would be sweet if you could add a pic to your post also)

Dragon Fish

This is probably what you are looking for. It is called a Dragon Fish or a Violet Goby. I has seem these for sale at the local Petsmart.

Space and a secure tank. Best to start with a Polypterus senegalus or P. palmas polli....they remain relatively small (10"-14"). Be aware that they are predatory and will swallow anything that they can fit into their mouths.

How much space do they need? 100 gallons or more? What does "Secure Tank" mean? Thicker glass?
