:wall: I have someone trying to sell me some Victorian Cichlids and I can't seem to find any info on them and I just don't want to take their word for it.
They say that they are very rare, are they?

I also can't find any pics of them either, does anyone have one that they could share?

I have a tank set ready for new fish but they also told me that the PH needs to be above 9 -- is this right?:liar:

Any info would help

they didn't tell me if that is what they are -- I had found them on craigs listings - they say that they are VERY rare
so I have been trying to find something out about them

Go to the link RB provided for you...and Cichlids from Lake Victoria require alkaline water conditions and the pH should ideally be kept between 7.2 and 8.6....9.0 is way too high...lower it if you can, and bring it down the 8.3 level....that is the ideal pH level for Lake Victoria cichlids...here is a link for pictures of Lake Victoria and Area cichlids...but you will have to scroll down to the almost bottom of the link...
http://www.africancichlids.net/gallery/index.php

each picture of the link that RB gave ya, you can click on each cichlid, and it will show you more pictures of the individual cichlid...and to get more info on the specific cichlid...scroll down to the bottom of each cichlid and click on any of the red links at the bottom of each page...it will give you more detailed info on the cichlid in the picture....
