FT Two large pieces of driftwood

Was going to use these pieces for a large tank, but the wife says no more big tank. I got them from a member on MonsterFish.

These are big pieces that will not really fit in my two vacant 20g longs. The thought of breaking these big pieces to a size usable for my 20g longs has crossed my mind, but I thought it would be a waste. I'm looking to trade these pieces for smaller pieces in the 12" range. My post in the Photo Lounge has a pic of my 20g long that is running with driftwood in it, which is what I am looking for. http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=170577&page=2

I am located in Springfield, MA, and would prefer to trade with someone local. Willing to go as far as the Boston Area and West Hartford.

Please trade with me before I decide to cut these pieces up.

Doesn't seem anyone is really interested in a trade. If someone wants to buy them, 25 for the big piece, 20 for the smaller piece. These are just a starting price, willing to accept any reasonable offer.

In a week, if I don't get any bites, I'll be chopping at least one of these to use in my other tanks.
 
I have some that might fit, but they are long and straight not all stumpy........

Those are two nice looking pieces IMO. I'd be interested in one of them, maybe both if you'd ship. Not sure how much shipping would be though. I don't "need" any driftwood but I'd hate to see those pieces go to waste. I could eaily fit one of them into my 100g tank. If you want to trade I have some snowball shrimp, yellow shrimp, red cherry shrimp (really red and not the pale ones commonly seen on this forum), also some +/- silver dollar sized standard finned silver and black angels (10 of them). I also have pure Endlers (class N stock) if you'd like. Not sure if you are looking for any of those but that's what I have to offer you. Could do partial trades or straight up.
 
It would be a shame to cut those up, hope you can work something out..........:idea:
 
Answered all PM's. I really need smaller pieces (stump like as luckydud13 says), but I am low on funds to buy smaller pieces, or even buy the material needed to ship these large pieces. So I'm really looking for people nearby. Thanks for all your interest in keeping these pieces intact.

I'll be honest, it is tempting to cut these up, just because I could make the "stump like" pieces I need. But I will wait, as I think the original owner would be upset with me.
 
Yah, cutting those up (especially the first pic) would be almost criminal. I wish I could afford a tank and get a piece like that to tie plants and moss all over. That would be an incredible centerpiece.
 
i have really been looking for these for a while now. I think i need smaller ones though lol but i would really like to have that in my tank
