Turquoise Rainbowfish - Growth Rate

Anybody have a good estimate of how long a turquoise rainbowfish will take to reach his full size? Maybe I'm impatient, but I've had him for about 3-4 weeks now and haven't seen any growth spurts...

He is about 1-1/4" right now

I don't know if mine were typical, but my turquoise rainbows seemed to be very slow to grow (and fully color up). But so were the other rainbow fish I had.

most rainbows typically grow slowly...so i wouldnt be in to much of a hurry

I agree, I had my praecox for over a year, and got them at probably 1.5-2". Never saw them reach full size.
