Tropic Aire Humidifier DIY co2?

So i found an old Tropic Aire humidifier in my garage, and thought hmm, i could do something with this. Think it will hold pressure? Its made to hold humidity pressure i guess. Seems to seal very tight. Was thinking i could use one output for a pressure release, how would i do that though? Anyone think this would work? Thanks

if a soda bottle will hold looks like that might be able to also. the only harder thing is most mixtures have been defined for 2l bottles. you will have to scale it down.
