Anyone ever tried feeding Triops instead of Brine Shrimp to their fishies?

There was an earlier post about this. One person mentioned that people had used them before, but wasn't sure of their nutritional value.

I'm guessing they wouldn't be a bad to use as part of a varied diet. But I don’t think I would feed them in absence of Brine Shrimp, but maybe as an addition.

I saw that too. I was just curious if anyone had used them for a while and could give the thumbs up or down.

They are pretty tough, large, and will predate fish nearly as large as themselves....perhaps good for larger (6"+) fish, but a bit much for smaller ones, and a pretty expensive live food to rear (eggs are not cheap, and since they are highly cannibalistic, they must be reared seperately).
